Dairy Goats
Last year we purchased our first dairy goats, and began the process of hand milking once per day. It takes us about 20 minutes per goat, and they thrive on routine - same time every single day! Our girls are Nigerian Dwarf goats, and their milk has the highest buttermilk content of any goat breed - this means sweet and creamy!
We use our goat milk to make soap, our bakery foods, and cheese or butter for ourselves.
In order for goats to produce milk, they have to be bred yearly. This year we were blessed with 3 healthy babies from our doe, Laia.
Haying
2025 has been an interesting weather year for making hay, but we have managed to complete first cut with enough bales to get us through an entire year of feed! Making hay requires a minimum of 3 consecutive days of sunshine; first day is cutting, second day is raking (drying), third day is more raking and baling!

The Bakery
We have been taking some big orders this summer! Some of our favorites included custom sugar cookies for favors at a bridal shower and a wedding! Message us directly for a quote for your special occasion, and watch our social media to see what baked goods are available in the farm stand.
What's Growing?
Currently we are growing hot peppers, sweet peppers, potatoes, beans, peas, tomatoes, dill, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, radishes, & carrots in our "garden in the woods" (check out our social media to see it!). We are also growing sunflowers, popcorn, gourds, sugar pumpkins, and jack o' lantern pumpkins!
All fresh produce available will be announced on our social media pages.
