Mooseberry Farm was created by two farm kids who fell in love - Brian and Becca Shippee. With an appreciation for the lifestyle we grew up with, our wish is to bring the same experience to you! Whether through our fresh products, visiting our animals, or learning new skills, we hope to share our joy of farm life and knowledge with everyone.
Our Story
Mooseberry Farm was created in 2021 in our small hometown, Foster, RI. Our goal was to bring together our values of faith, self sustainability, and love for living off of the land. Brian and Becca come from families of multi-generation farmers; and decided to form their own, keeping family customs alive, and raising their beautiful daughter to appreciate the same lifestyle.
We started with a small flock of chickens, and a livestock guardian dog named Moose. On a whim, we decided to buy a couple of baby goats - we loved having goats, and decided the next step was dairy goats. Now, we are expanding our herd every year!
The bakery was created in 2024 with the idea of creating homemade foods with wholesome ingredients, and posting tutorials on our social medias for those who enjoy trying our recipes at home. This also includes growing your own food, canning, and preserving!
We are continuing to expand our farm with new animals, products, and ideas every year. Thank you for being a part of our adventures!
